We help you finding the right tour for you in our region – choose between flat and easy family-friendly courses as well as demanding mountain bike trails. Afterwards, you can store your own bike in our lockable bike room.
When the weather is kind, the bathing lake in our orchard invites you to swim and relax. Our guests enjoy the sunny lawn, the swimmer and kid’s area. Come and unwind after an exhausting hike or biking tour.
You will find quite a few golf courses surrounding Hammer if you would like to improve your handicap. The closest course is in Ruhpolding, at the foot of Rauschberg with a stunning landscape and its surrounding mountains. More courses can be found at the Chiemsee and in Berchtesgaden.
Winter sports have always been quite important to us and many of us are quite active athletes. Our local club, SC Hammer, has a long and proud history, as it is home to many world-famous outstanding top athletes such as Peter Angerer (Biathlon), Martina Zellner (Biathlon), Thomas Dufter (Nordic Combiner) oder Sepp Ferstl (Alpine Skiing). Our skiing club’s story of success continues with Sepp Ferstl’s son “Pepi”. Pepi represents our SC Hammer in alpine winter sports and won his first World Cup in Saslong in December 2017.
